BOMA of Buffalo is proud to present an interactive and educational seminar on the active shooter. We will hear from experts from the US Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation on this significant topic. Our presentation will include information about the shooter complex, which has been determined based on FBI studies. Our presenters will also showcase exciting informational videos with pertinent information on this subject. Following the presentation and videos, we will welcome active dialogue.

Special Agent (SA) Darin Schultz, Buffalo Field Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation:

SA Darin Schultz began his career in Law Enforcement 27 years ago, the past 22 years as a Special Agent with the FBI.  He started his career with the FBI working Organized Crime and Drug investigations.  Currently, he serves in the roles as the Recruiter/Applicant Coordinator, Training Coordinator and the Office of Private Sector Coordinator for the Buffalo Field Office.  He has been involved the with Crisis Management program since 2009.  Prior to serving in his current position he was a Supervisory Agent responsible for the Technical programs and the Special Operations Group. 


Supervisory Protective Security Advisor (PSA) Mark Kreyer, Upstate NY and New Jersey, US Department of Homeland Security, Office of Infrastructure Protection:

Following a nearly 23 year career in the US Army, Supervisory PSA Kreyer joined the Department of Homeland Security in 2005 as the Buffalo District PSA.  PSAs are the Department of Homeland Security’s Infrastructure Protection specialists assigned to districts throughout the country.  Over the last 13 years, Mark has performed numerous vulnerability assessments, site assistance visits and given relevant topical presentations to various audiences in support of the critical infrastructure stakeholders within the Buffalo District.
