Lunch will be served at the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, a state-of-the-art 73,000 sq. ft. research facility which was the first new construction on the thriving Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.  Jill Szczesek, Chief Operating Officer, Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute will share some history and recent announcements!

The Innovation Center is the largest business incubator in Buffalo, made up of 180,000 sqft in three buildings. It is a self-contained ecosystem that includes start-up companies, service providers, and post-launch businesses. It is member of the Western New York Incubator Network, providing tax credits and discounted professional services to qualified resident companies.

43North is a startup competition in Buffalo, NY, that invests $5 million each year in companies with a deployable product, strong team, and a desire to relocate to Buffalo for at least a year. They have invested in over 40 companies since coming on the scene as part of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Buffalo Billion initiative in 2014. Companies that win 43North have gone on to raise more than $200 million and create more than 350 local jobs.
