President's Report

On February 14, 2019, I was proud to represent BOMA Buffalo when the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Program was signed into law in Erie County.

PACE has the potential to greatly benefit the commercial buildings of Erie County with easy and affordable access to long-term capital used to install energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements that lower energy costs, improve the building stock of the community and lower pollution for the region. PACE creates a mechanism that allows a building owner to repurpose money currently being spent on utilities into needed capital improvements.

Message from the Executive Director - Jennifer Aiple

In 2019, BOMA Buffalo is encouraging building managers to participate in the Experience Exchange Report Survey that opened in mid January.  With your help, Buffalo building managers will have their own benchmarking report that will be available this June! A special "How To" conference call will be held in early March. Call (716) 856-3801 to learn more.

For nearly a century, BOMA's Office Experience Exchange Report (Office EER) has been the industry’s most trusted benchmarking resource for office buildings. In 2015 the database expanded to also include benchmarking information for industrial properties with the Industrial Experience Exchange Report (Industrial EER). Each of these interactive reports offers the most accurate and comprehensive income and expense data to help you evaluate and refine operational strategies, build better budgets, assess new markets and identify opportunities for cost savings that can drive a more profitable bottom line for your properties.
