By now, most BOMA Buffalo members have heard about the BOMA Experience Exchange Report (EER), and our local initiative to have commercial building managers join us in completing the OfficeEER survey for you building(s).
The EER is a critical resource that every building manager would find useful, and it could help you save valuable dollars on your operating expenses! In addition to local requests for benchmarking data, we have also seen a steady increase in inquiries from out-of-town firms asking for data on our market. Having good benchmarking data will continue to attract new growth in the WNY real estate market.
Please consider completing the survey at https://eer.boma.org before the April 1st deadline. To find out more details on what you will need, please call Jennifer at (716) 856-3801.
Thank you to everyone who has already participated!
Over the past ten years, I have been proud of the diverse talent and knowledge of the volunteers that make up our BOMA Board. I am thankful for their time, accomplishments, continued enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to offer new programs to our members and assist the commercial real estate industry!
I look forward to working with the 2019 board members. Please click the following link for our recent press release: Congratulations to the 2019 BOMA Board of Directors!

What is your favorite Buffalo food item and/or restaurant?
I have recently been exploring more restaurant options however, I will have to claim Bar Bill in East Aurora as my favorite. As far as the food item goes, I can’t choose between the wings or the beef so I usually get both. The medium/hot wings have just the right amount of flavor.
What is one of your favorite quotes?
I put inspirational quotes up every week for our Monday morning meetings, so I am up on these! One that I have recently come across that has stuck with me is by Dr. Suess…"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose”.
What accomplishment are your proudest of?
Professionally speaking it would have to be my business. I was able to launch a startup painting company and gross $1.5M in sales in under 3 years all while being profitable each year.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I enjoy many things about my career, the 2 things I’m currently enjoying most is being a part of Buffalo’s growth and being able to witness progress of some larger projects first hand
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
No two properties are alike but, especially in New York State, EV charging has become a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining customers, top talent and residents.
With NYSERDA's EV charging incentives, you could be eligible for up to $200K in rebates for the purchase and installation of EV chargers. National Grid NY customers could also qualify for free site preparation and power upgrades.
